At West Coast Barbell Club we help people get stronger and healthier. Based between East Perth and the CBD, we are the only gym in Perth that focuses exclusively on private strength coaching.

We opened our doors on ANZAC Day 2018 with a charity workout in support of Soldier on Australia, and since then our ambition has been clear - To get more people strength training, and to get our members as strong and healthy as possible.

This is achieved through guided programming and coaching of fundamental barbell lifts - Squats, Presses and Pulls. Our coaching service is designed to suit individuals of all abilities, with several of our lifters having gone on to become successful strength competitors within less than a year of training.

Our coaches are positive and honest, as well as being some of the most knowledgeable fitness professionals in the Perth Metro Area. They are passionate about helping others and are committed to helping you achieve your goals.

The primary focus of our training is strength development, while our approach to guiding nutrition has been proven time and again to work when it comes to our clients reaching and maintaining their desired bodyweight and body composition.

West Coast Barbell Club and our coaching team provide an evidence based approach to helping our lifters get results when it comes to weight loss and muscle gain, encompassing a highly successful group coaching service, 1-on-1 personal training and online coaching to clients throughout Australia.

The service and pricing for these 3 membership options we offer is super simple…

Our Online Coaching service is $25 per week and includes private digital coaching with our Head Coach Ben, personalised programming, and personalised nutrition guidance for your specific bodyweight and body composition goals.

Our Group Coaching service is $55 per week and includes unlimited access to our group coaching sessions, WCBC team programming, and personalised nutrition guidance for your specific bodyweight and body composition goals.

Our 1-on-1 Personal Training service is $75 per hour and includes private coaching with our Head Coach Ben, personalised programming, and personalised nutrition guidance for your specific bodyweight and body composition goals.

We love the little pocket of the Claisebrook precinct where our gym is tucked away, and our members travel from all around the city to train at our facility…

From South of the river in Como, South Perth, Victoria Park, Lathlain, Rivervale, Belmont and Burswood, to North of the river in Maylands, Mount Lawley, Highgate, East Perth, Northbridge, North Perth, Subiaco, and West Perth, with several of our members travelling from as far as Stirling, Innaloo and Osborne Park.

Thankfully there’s quick and easy access to and from the city and surrounding suburbs via the nearby Graham Farmer Freeway, as well as public transport links at Claisebrook and East Perth Train Stations.
